Can't stay logged in on Yahoo

Discussion in 'Yahoo' started by kemperhills, Jul 21, 2012.

A while back the HD on my computer had to be replaced. After replacing the HD I can't stay logged in on Yahoo. Every time I close IE and reopen I have to log in again even when I check the "keep me logged in" box.Could anyone tell me how to fix this problem. Thanks.

Are cookies enabled on your browser? That would be the first thing I'd check.

I am not a newbie to computers and can do some things, but I don't know that I know how to do what you suggested. Could you explain how? Thanks.

What browser are you using? The instructions to do this will somewhat vary from browser to browser.

Make sure in Autocomplete Settings, the 'Forms' and 'Username and Password on forms' checkbox are tick. Or if you want to avoid all the hassle, use other browser instead. :)

I would suggest the same as danasurvey did. Cookies and caches are services which store data from the internet. This service can help increasing the speed when accessing sites which cookies/caches has been stored at user's HD. Basically, every internet browser has standard setting to receive cookies/caches from sites. You can go to the setting section of your browser and have it done...
Sorry, I am not an IE8 user, so I can't provide step-to-step guide for you, but I hope this can help ... :)

i think your browser should be reinstalled ...... use a different browser like chrome and check if the same problem occurs then certainly you have a computer problem not of the browser problem .....

I can stay logged in and there is no such problem. The solution could be enabling cookies for your browser. Try to stay logged on using other browser and share the result please.

Check your browser setting. In browser setting activate the system called save user name and password. It will automatically store your password on your computer.

Change your browser. Also check weather your cleaner or any other software automatically deleting your cache or login details.

Check out your cookies. Remove all of them and try again, no matter what browser do you use.
