Hello everybody, I have a blog based on football predictions, analysis, tips etc. witch isn't getting me a lot of traffic. And when i say "a lot" i mean almost nothing... The site is: What am i doing wrong, or what should i do? I wrote all the articles in english, only one is in Romanian (and i'm currently writing another one). Please help, any answer is appreciated. In that case you have to promote your site by doing some SEO staffs and you have to connect your site to google analytics in that way your site will be able to get promoted and earn traffics.
"Doing seo <<staffs>>" isn't helping me... and i use Google analytics. Someone else? PS: Does submiting my blog/articles in directories will help increase traffic or only link building?
You need to go on top of the Google to get free traffic or you need PPC for paid traffic like Facebook Ads, Google and Yahoo to get traffic and views.

since the leauges have finished, people are not making bets a lot. This can be because of this. By the way, try to enter just a few tags related to your posts. Don't use a lot of tags. Google can mark your website as 'duplicate'

Have you tried social networks to promote your site. Try to learn more about link building and website promotion. If your website really does have interesting contents, you can look forward to a steady flow of traffic.

Are you promoting the site at all? It's a big misconception taht you just slap up a site and people will come. Market your blog using social media.
Link building will help increase your traffic. You need to use social marketing and get people intrigued. If you have several million dollars with nothing to do an add during the super bowl would help... no but really, you need to just build up your website slowly and surely and focus on marketing, link building, and social networking. Also, make sure all your articles are in english. Having some in romanian will just hurt you.

Why not try paid traffic, there are several networks that can provide cheap traffic like AdBrite, Adknowledge, Zedo, Admarketplace etc. If your site is new and you are trying SEO then its better to wait for few months to see actual traffic. Other method to get free traffic is using YouTube, FaceBook and Stumble Upon. Post your analysis and Predictions by recording yourself using a camera on YouTube (If you don't have expensive one you can record using Mobile phone). Join at least 5 major football groups on Facebook, be active on each group for at least 5 minutes everyday, post link to your article and video on YouTube (Important Don't Overdo it). Join Stumble Upon and try to make as many football loving friends as you can till next month (Important before you send friend request, the user isn't dormant since last 3 weeks). Don't add your website in your stumble upon profile and don't even share it unless you make 100 to 200 active friends on Stumble Upon. Note that stumble upon is long term investment on traffic but once it'll start flooding your website with traffic, it'll not be easy to stop that flow. Finally few tips for your website, your website is very badly designed because it almost lacks every page navigation method. You have posted so many ads that your website almost disappeared due to it. Following are few quick suggestions, - You have multiple social sharing widgets, keep any one remove others. - Increase size of main content column and fonts. - You are following blog pattern for sports website and you aren't using magzine type theme, biggest mistake, use magzine theme, configure so that everything appears nice and make sure your recent article appear as featured post. - Any website which have more than 3 adds above fold isn't interesting to anyone.
