Email Autoresponder trigger question

I want to ask about an email trigger.

I have a group of students who have been given 5 tasks. After each task they have to email back to me saying that they have completed the task.

Is it possible to trigger a predetermined email with content when a student emails that he has completed a task. For example, when Student A completes Task 1 and send an email he should get the content for Task 2 in the auto response. Is that possible?

Hmm...that's a great question and I'm looking forward to the replied. I haven't come across anything like that before but off the top of my head, couldn't a "complete" button be set up to trigger an email much like a typical opt in box?

That is possible, but you will have to do it through some coding, perhaps a .Net simple application that connects to your email service.
The script would be something like this (written in easy to read instructions):

if (email 1 sent response) then email him with next task
if (email 2 sent response) then email him with next task
    ...
if (email n sent response) then email him with next task.

If you are not familiar with development programs you should get in touch with someone to help you. The application itself is pretty easy but has to be made by someone familiarized with the platform and email management. Perhaps you can make a php application that integrates with AWeber or some autoresponder, that is more advanced but I am sure it can be made as well.

    Hope that helps!
