    Incase you didnt know you could just use the Prt Scrn button on your keyboard then open up Paint or any other graphics editing program and press paste , or CTRL+V and it should appear.
    I also belive Win 7 has a screenshot function built in where you press CTRL+A and then it will freeze your screen for a sec and a tick and X Box will come up.

    I recommend you a software can that create screenshot for videos. It is Kvisoft flipbook maker software, but it can convert your video into other formats and then publish online.

    As what I know almost all video players are able to capture snapshot from video, like the VLC player, real player.

    Jing is free and will take screenshots or up to 5 minutes of video. Then you can either save it to your computer or send the link - it is saved on their website, I think- then whoever you are sending it to just goes and views it on the web. It is good but you can't use it to edit and it saves it in a non-standard format (definitely not MP4).
