What price would you say is realistic

    Hi

I have been asked to do the off-page SEO/Marketing for a business here in the UK.

We are just at the talking it through stages and haven't confirmed their monthly budget as yet but they asked me if £100 per month would be realistic to get them page one (I never promise or guarantee anyone page one, even though I have had great results).

I have called them asking them to call me back, they want to start off with their main keyword which has 53,500,000 search results, so a lot of competition, hense why £100 per month I feel is very unrealistic.

I don't have a mimimum charge for SEO and am always happy to work with the clients budget, so if they only want to pay me for an hour or two of SEO per month, then no problem.

With that in mind and the fact that I am based in the UK, if it was you what would you advise the client is a more realistic budget?? They obviously want to see results as quickly as possible (but as I say I never promise anything) but i need to advise them of a more realistic budget to start seeing results.

Thanks in advance for any advise.

    Dee

Best thing is to look at other companies and field their offers - based on that you will be able to properly charge with competitive prices but maybe slightly lower.

You might want to google other seo services see what they charge. I would contact a few of them tell them your situation see how much they would charge.

    Search what others charge.

53,500,000 results doesn't mean much. The authority of the top 10 is what matters. If they are high authority sites, 100 is really low. If the term is "sandals for beavers" it will probably be easier, and 5 a month would be over charging.

And as proof, search results volume means nothing, "sandals for beavers" has almost 6,000,000 competing pages.

Well all you can find from searching locally is the price per hour and I already know my hourly rate, I would just like some recommendations on the hours you would recommend to the client.

If the keyword is "skip hire" how many hours PM would you recommend to the client would be needed?
