    I can't imagine how someone can truly sell / convince even 100 real people (possibly friends) to follow someone at their request.Buying followers imho will only boost your ego and nothing else.

    Well yeah everyone's doing it - if you look at Fiverr you'll see how many people are selling Twitter followers. But again as someone already said you may buy them and try to get them interested in your product and/or website but, really unless they are targeted visitors it's unlikely they will respond

    I wouldn't waste the time or money, when you buy followers all the people do is use bots to create fake accounts and then mass follow people on them to get you whatever you buy. It's easier to get targeted followers yourself plus it's free if you do it yourself! :)

    It's always tricky and hard to find REAL Twitter followers. So many people are selling Fake and call them real followers. The best way is to start following people that are following a twitter profile related to yours. It's tedious work but it is the best way to get followers that will be interactive. Never follow more than 50 people a day. Also, if someone doesn't follow you back then just stop following them. You can get a software to do that for you as well.

    I wouldn't buy followers as there is no guarantee that they are genuine.

    I have just done a blog post on my site (1st link in Signature) about how i took my Twitter following from 25 to 600+ in just over a couple of weeks.

    THey are targeted by Keyword and therefore have the same interests i do. 3 weeks isn't that long a time and I've started seeing a steady increase in traffic.
