    PPC - pay per click or paid search marketing is the process of gaining traffic by purchasing ads on search engines. It is sometimes referred to as CPC (cost-per-click) or PPC (pay-per-click) marketing, because most search ads are sold on a CPC / PPC basis. ;)

    Pay Per Click = You lay or get paid when someone click ads on your ads or someone‘s ads that you published in your site.
    As an Advertisers͵ you pay when your ads get click.
    As a Publishers͵you get paid when anyone click ads that you published in your site.
    Try Google AdSense to underatnd it easily.

    PPC is Pay Per Click is a paid method to bring traffic on a website. It is quite successful in bringing result, but beware as you can lose money if the PPC campaigns are not guided by industry experts. PPC programs are seen as a sure method of increasing a website's traffic and this specific process is really helpful in diverting potential visitors from other sources. But there is a drawback and this is that you pay for per visitor.
