What approximate price ranges would I be expected to pay, for a web designer to create me a basic 5 page website? basic pages, 2-3 pictures per page. I know this is a rough question, but i just am looking for vague prices thanks. If you are a webdeveloper- what do you charge ?
Depends on what you want in those 5 pages. An average web designer would charge somewhere between $100 to $500, but if you go to a web design company, they may as ask you above $1000.
If I am looking just to get by...Ill pay $20-25/page; If I am looking for higher quality pages, then i would pay $100/page. It also depends how good you are...You can not charge $100/page if your pages look like they are worth $5.00
$100 if they are static, $250 to $300 if they are high quality web 2.0 style website. Designed would really put a lot of efforts to make an appealing design and use jquery and stuff to make it sleek and cool and since there are only 5 pages $250 to $300 sounds reasonable.
Hi Entry, Post the job on ELANCE, clarifying as much detail as possible about what you want the site to do, feel & look like. Never let your web designer dictate your marketing - you must take responsibility for that! I'd suggest you design the marketing so that you have a LANDING PAGE with a LIST-BUILDING OFFER and OPT-IN FORM to capture visitor's NAME & EMAIL ADDRESS in retun for giving them a FREE GIFT (e.g. free report, special guide, 5 day email mini-course, video course, etc). The sales copy will be a list of BENEFITS of the free gift, with a strong CALL-TO-ACTION at end, i.e. Register Now for Immediate Access. You'll want a THANK YOU page where subscribers can actually download the free gift from. Use an AUTO-RESPONDER like AWEBER to automatically send subscribers the link to the download page. Create an EMAIL SEQUENCE that delivers valuable content automatically, one email at least once a week. 1 in 4 emails can be a SALES MESSAGE for your own products or an affiliate product. Depending on what your site is for, the following pages may also be important: BLOG - For keyword-rich SEO posts (articles, YouTube videos, etc) to help with driving traffic from Google. ABOUT - Who you are, what niche you serve (your personal story & website's core task), why you created the site & how visitors can engage with you. REVIEWS- For any affiliate products you've used & promoting. Include your affiliate link. STORE - E.g. Ebay or Amazon store integration. CONTACT - How people can get in touch with you by email, social media, etc. PM me if you want any further help Best Wishes, DAVID PARKER Entrepreneur & Marketing Consultant P.S. I've also got a free guide & video course on creating a basic website (including how to add video & pics onto webpages) if you want to create the website yourself. P.S.S. Heard of Fiverr.com? This is where you can have website headers, ebook covers, etc created for just $5.
