adult payment processor for BVI company

Discussion in 'Payment Processing' started by M00N0i, Jun 22, 2012.

    Hi,

I am in need of a third party payment platform for my adult business.

My website has been running for 10 years already, in the area of ads for escort services and adult content, with ZERO chargebacks on the ads and very low chargeback rate for the rest.

I recently changed to a BVI company - I have the problem that the big processors don't want to process VISA payments for my BVI company or ake me jump through ridiculous hoops (like sending cheques by mail to the BVI).

I have looked on the web, and found many many processors whose websites say they are willing to accept my business (even at ridiculously low rates).
The problem is: I haven't heard about any of them, and google search about reviews or experiences with their services yields almost no information, quite frustrating!

    for example, the following:
    00pay.com
    paynetsecure.net
    orbitalpay.com
    islandpayments.com
    and many more...

But I don't know which is reliable?
    Can anyone help please?
Who here can say good things about any of these services?

I'd rather like a third party processor, multi language, supporting API gateway.
It's no problem for me if the custoemr has to leave my page to pay.

    Thank you for help!

Maverick sent me a promotional copy-paste PM for a merchant account (which I don't want as per my post) and many questions already answered in the post above.

I'm asking customers of high-risk thrid party processors: which processor are you happy with?

I did not mean to come off as promotional. I was asking more information about your website to try to help such as the monthly volume, average ticket, etc. which are important factors when trying to find a payment processor for your industry. I apologize and I wish you the best.

Make sure to check the public available and official list of PCI / AIS certified payment service providers by VISA International. Only providers listed there should be considered for your payment processing needs!

Everyone please be aware, there are two lists of certified VISA providers, one for EU and one for USA.

I'm not allowed to post links

Something tells me that I won't find much high risk processors at Visa EU, except Verotel - the list is short anyway.

Now I must do a websearch for every item on the USA list to find out what they offer

paxum is an e-wallet system - I think it doesn't accept direct card payments
    I could not find Respass

I found zombaio - this looks real good and they also got good reviews.

EDIT: damn, they don't do BVI companies

I do not have much information on the other companies you listed, but I know GRAYPAY takes all sorts of adult businesses and they are reasonable. Check them out www.graypay.com.

    Hope this helps.

graypay.com doesn't seem to offer a billing/payment platform - with nthem, I would need my own merchant account?

GRAYPAY supplies a direct merchant account. This way you can start processing right away. Does that make sense?

A direct merchant account involves opening a bank account at yet another bank.
I want to use my existing bank account.
Can you say in which jurisdiction the bank account would be openend in?

A direct merchant account does not necessarily mean opening up another bank account. They normally use the bank account you already have set up for the business. The deposits go directly into that account. GRAYPAY offers mostly domestic banks, but they have some offshore options if it becomes necessary. For the adult industry GRAYPAY can easily set your company up with an account on the domestic side.

You are right Moon, it's very hard to find reliable trustworthy people in the merchant account industry. This is one of the reasons I'm taking a more active role, as I've been lied to over & over again for years & I've had enough.

Interestingly, we are in the same adult industry, just doing different things.

I can't tell if you in the US, but that doesn't matter too much. Unfortunately long gone are the days when US banks would place anything to do with high risk.

Escort, gone, they just got rid of MMJ now as of July 1st, but I have a partner who can place for that. Anything high risk, forget it, 98% all have to go offshore. Sounds like you were already offshore, but I can't tell. They should be wiring you your money, I don't understand the "cheque thing" Ahh, you aren't in the US :)

As for jumping through hoops, I'm trying to make everything as seamless as possible, but I have no control over what the banks want. There's just too much fraud out there, PLUS because of what the banks did back in 2008, everything has become way more complicated. Not to mention they know businesses are desperate.

As for the list of the sites you gave, remember that there are the major banks who provide the service, then there's smaller processing banks underneath them, then there's ISOs (that's me) who have relationships with the banks or they even partner up with other ISOs, so tracking the name isn't always easy.

I care about quality, ethics, communication, honesty, etc. I would NEVER knowingly mislead anyone. I want everyone to succeed & be happy.

I hope you find what you need to continue running your business. I know how stressful it is when you lose your merchant account.
