    Advertising (learn more)

Advertise virtually anything here, with CPM banner ads, CPM email ads and CPC contextual links. You can target relevant areas of the site and show ads based on geographical location of the user if you wish.

Starts at just $1 per CPM or $0.10 per CPC.

$20,000+/month website policy violation, makes no sense

Have you thought about getting direct advertisers? That would probably make much more money anyway. And it would allow you to avoid scenarios like this. Google can be a fickle mistress.

Since your account is not banned, use it on other sites in your network and explore alternatives after all it is not good to carry all your eggs in one basket.

The problem with the Adsense policies is that they are very vague. What I'd do is contact Google again and tell them that you will disable ads on all chat pages, and only display ads on safe pages, e.g. the profile pages. I'm not entirely sure that this will get the site reinstated but it is worth a shot.

Biggest issue is that Adsense pays a lot better than all other comparable services. And while you can go the direct marketing route, it requires lots of work and extra hours to get this going.

It is time for a strong Adsense alternative.

Making $20,000 a month is very good! and it's sad to see that Google is being unfair.
I think that as well as Google you should join Infolinks or Chitika but make sure your allowed to place both company ads, they would generate you about $10K each as well as google. If you feel it might happen again you should hire an expert in Google's rules and make sure they check every week/monthly whether you are complying with their rules.

Try Adbrite or other ad networks.

Google does not play when it comes to their policy rules. They are not going to reverse it. They are billion dollar company so its not going to hurt them.

Okay, so, I read your entire post. Perhaps, you should clarify with the AdSense support team about this? To me, it seems like a canned response.

Just get rid of the Newsletter/Email ads, and continue from there-on presenting your argument to them that other bigger sites are doing the same and ask, why are they not facing he same issues etc. That's the first thing I would do and then just see their response.

But to be honest, haven't you thought of diversifying your advertising system? It seems you can a lot of traffic, you could possibly DIRECTLY sell advertisements and get a bigger share of the pie.
