General Information:

SociBuzz(dot)com is being re-tooled as a Social Media PPC based (Advertiser & Publisher) network.

Examples of competitors are (MyLikes(dot)com / RevTwt(dot)com).

SociBuzz(dot)com will help Publishers monetize their social media traffic while giving Advertisers the ability to pay-per-click for the traffic they are receiving.

Possible Tag Lines:

• SociBuzz - Social Cash & Social Buzz
• SociBuzz - Publishers Get Cash and Advertisers Get Buzz
• SociBuzz – Stop Wasting Time, Get Social!
• SociBuzz – Social Advertising Made Simple

Where to Get Inspiration:

Since this is a Social Media concept, the user of the shiny “Web 2.0” look and feel can be enacted.

As for a logo – we are not sure if the “Buzz” could represent a Bumble Bee or a Rocket . . . or even better a Cartoon Character - So please feel free to be creative.

The overall concept should clearly convey that SociBuzz(dot)com can connect you to traffic across a variety of Social Media sites. Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Tumblr, Google, RSS Feeds, Wordpress, and more.

Target Audience:

SociBuzz(dot)com will target the 2 segments above (Publishers and Advertisers).

Publishers - want to make money and this happens by being rewarded for their social media traffic.

Advertisers - want to have quality traffic at an affordable price. Conversions and ROI are their key concern with any investment into marketing.

*NOTE - Keep in mind that there will be a single sign up process so a publisher account will also have access as an Advertiser – So there doesn’t need to be the traditional (Publisher / Advertiser) split login.

Format:

Only PSD format is required for this contest. We will take care of all slicing so that you can focus 100% on the quality of design.

Contest Rules:

This contest ends June 29th, 2012 at 12:00 pm (GMT-6).

Payment will be made on June 29th, 2012 via PayPal.com to the winner.

The winner of the contest MUST provide the PSD design Creatives either by email or Skype download prior to payment being sent.

!!! IMPORTANT !!! - Designs MUST be posted inside the thread – (DO NOT) PM submissions, they will be deleted and you will NOT be considered < Please follow this simple rule so that users can also comment on designs they like best.

This is not an official rule, but let’s be honest . . .

We are shelling out $500, so if you think an automated logo generated from some $9 stock image pack is going to cut it, I would advise that you don’t waste your time or ours.

We are looking for the BEST and may the BEST Win!

.png can be used to illustrate the concept, however the final product must be in PSD - which is the format our internal designers use for editing.

The Social Media Profile Picture is also called an (Avatar).

The same concept can be used - so there is no need to design 2 different graphics.

Really creative. Nicely Done !!

 

I am hesitant to provide too much feed back for a few different reasons.

If I start asking for revisions from a particular designer it might give them an unfair edge against the other designers.

I know a lot of OP's come here and call it a "contest" but really are just looking for free work. This is NOT the case with this thread.

My goal is to run this like a true contest - so a word to the designers; feel free to comment on each others designs or outside individuals reading / watching the thread can also comment.

As for myself - I will hold my peace until this Friday when we close the contest down and make our final decision.
