Wiki or EDU Links?

Discussion in 'Link Development' started by master-yoda, Jun 17, 2012.

On another well know forum I have seen many packages of Wiki and EDU links for sale.

Which links would be better to get, Wiki or EDU?

If you still have a lot of links, both should be ok, but I would definitely prefer .EDU
I'm not sure if you should buy a big package if you have only a handful of links (it doesnt look natural to Big G).

Really depends on the links you're getting in the packages.

    Try both.

Both are very good, so whichever package of you can get more quickly or cheaply would be the best way to go.

google has been saying for a while that edu links don;t worth anymore than a regular TLD link. only way the link worth more is if you get it from a high authority page. so if the links are coming from a good page and allows you to add contextual backlink, then go for it. if it is just blog comment on over-spammed blogs, then forget it.

you can get wiki links if they are from wiki posts and if it allows contextual links. just make sure you dont end up buying spam links.

Buying Links is necessary? I don't think so.
However, If this is really good. You can go for WIKI.

The answer is BOTH, build back links from multiple sources, and increase your authority.

There's no one easy answer. it really depends on the domain more than anything but if I absolutely had to pick, i would pick EDU

I don't think it really matters. If the link comes from a shitty site, the link comes from a shitty site and it doesn't matter whether it's .edu or a wiki-site. I believe it's a bit overrated.

If you create proper profile in edu or wiki sites than you will get good improvement in SERP. For example , post your image , Article or news , all detail of your verious product or archivement related information of your company.

These days, such links are good to ensure your link structure remains DIVERSE, it's not so much the fact that any extension/link type naturally weighs more.

I prefer .edu links... because they are easy to get. I have experienced many wiki links are deleted after some time.

.edu domain is better than wiki because as per stability and also search engine point of view noncommercial domain .edu is more weighted then any others domain links.
