    My site bounce rate is 49.84% which I feel is quite ok..Since many of our site visitors are just people who come searching through networking sites like twitter and facebook..

    If you are looking for exact data, you should set the goals and see their conversion rate..I think that is a much better way to see how your site is doing.

    Mine is around 35%. It fluctuates from month to month. The better your content, the lower your bounce rate will be if you don't have many advertisements, affiliate links. Anything over 50% is reason to worry and it is extremely unlikely that any website could obtain a bounce rate under 20%.
