Question, do some of the forums not add to post count?

Ok, so, long time lurker but new to posting. I noticed I've got 10 posts but I'm showing 9 post count (will be 10 after posting this thread I guess).

Was wondering which forums don't add to post count, or where this is listed as I haven't seen it before.

Hopefully I'm not about to get slapped for posting this here, there's no "support" or "questions" forum, perhaps I can suggest that and my post is now relevant here? :)

Your are correct. Not all post increment your post count. I forget which forums are not included but introductions is one. You should see the list of members that run through the introduction forum posting, "Welcome to DP."

Ah, introductions will be the cause then. I was just wondering whether it was a bug, whether I'd had something removed or not.

That makes complete sense to be fair, surprising to be fair, it takes no time at all to up post count, over the course of the 7 or 14 day period I can't imagine how people couldn't ACTUALLY CONTRIBUTE while doing it.

Pains... They're the reason I have to arbitrarily wait before using the buy/sell forum despite being a contributing member. Any redditors on the modteam? Can I get a "oh you're a redditor, that's cool" pass? What if I'm a moderator of major subs? Heh.

    Wishful thinking.

Responding to people asking for reviews of their website is a pretty easy way to help and make posts.
