    Avoid Black Hat SEO Techniques-
    Keyword Stuffing
    Cloaking
    Doorway Pages
    Hidden Text
    Wrong Meta Tag.

Only use White Hat SEO Techniques.

The interesting thing about the Google Panda/Penguin update is that none of The SEO System users were affected by it. Why? Because it forces you to do SEO right. It "tasks" you everyday with creating inbound links naturally from a variety of sources using a variety of anchor text.

I can see what Google is trying to do with Penguin update, level the playing field an all. Right, I would love that to happen. But as an SEO, I don't want to get caught in cross fire and I don't want my sites to sink because of the general SERPs tsunami. We shall see...

Looks like more focus being given to onsite SEO.

Whitehat, whitehat, whitehat, no blackhat. This is all that penguin update requires.

My site was never black hat, but I went as white hat as possible the past couple of months, even to the end of rewriting as naturally as I could.

Using old effective SEO, and recently something new and slightly different, my site has been going down, down, down. Content-wise, the site exceeds every related competitor's site in the state from what I can tell.

So I've concluded that unless Google gets back on track, much of the proper honest SEO webmasters were using, may well be ready to throw away.

It's remarkable too, how many sites have risen to the top that are newer sites, thread-bare on content, and not really fined tuned.

SEO companies are always in touch with the latest in algorithms so I think that they will also tweak their approach so that their client's site will stay on top. But, its not going to be a drastic change, I think, unless of course the damage is out of control. If that happens, for sure, many SEO companies will change their approach.
