You can try selecting the area with lasso tool (or something else) and the go to -> Fill, and select "Content Aware" from the options. See how this works, and if not you might try Color Picker and then Brush to pain over it (with good Zoom level etc).

Seems like others have already answered the question but I hope you're not trying to remove a watermark of some kind from an image -- they are placed there for a reason. Respect the work/property of others.

It really all depends on the image and the logo you are trying to remove. Removing it is as simple as using the lasso tool as others have mentioned, replacing the area is a bit trickier depending on the picture and there’s only so much advice we can give without seeing the picture. That aside, I’m with Icegin in hoping that it’s not a watermark. If the work has been watermarked and is copyrighted by somebody else then it needs to be left alone.

Hello. You know, if you want to remove logo from the center of the picture in the photoshop, you can easily use such great tool like lasoo tool. I think it is the best option to do this function. Also, you can find many great tutorials in google which help you a lot as well.

why would you need to remove the logo from the centre of an image unless it was to steal someone else's copyright?

It does certainly sound like stockphoto theft to me. If it were there own watermark they'd probably have the original file and could just hide that layer.

I don't mean to point the finger, and if it is your own watermark, try using the pen tool to create a selection (feather if your penning isn't 100% accurate) and make an adjustment layer so that you're not writing over the original layer. The pen tool will be smoother and accurate than using the lasso tool and can also be adjusted after the fact.

    my2cents,

    Amy. ;)
