Should I Play WoW Again?

Discussion in 'Games' started by gordenwong, Jun 7, 2012.

I played WoW when I was younger. Now had a 70 mage and stopped playing it for a few months.

    I played D2 since I was 11 and now playing D3.

Is WoW worth the second game to pick up? I hear that it's becoming a dead game?

Much of World of Warcraft play involves the completion of quests. These quests, also called "tasks" or "missions", are usually available from NPCs.[28] Quests usually reward the player with some combination of experience points, items, and in-game money. Quests allow characters to gain access to new skills and abilities, and explore new areas. http://www.Allcdkey.com/SalesGuide.cfm?GuideName=AllCdkey78732193073 offer cdkey and share a 5% discount on World of Warcraft-US. Quests commonly involve killing a number of creatures, gathering a certain number of resources, finding a difficult to locate object, speaking to various NPCs, visiting specific locations, interacting with objects in the world, or delivering an item from one place to another.

If you can moderate your time and not get sucked in, it could be fun. I played for a while and it's just too time consuming if you let it. I had friends that would pass up life events like hanging out, graduations, partying, etc. for WoW. That was when I finally just turned it in.

    Same. ^

It's dead, there's a new generation of MMO's coming out now. Guild Wars 2 is amazing, try Secret World, etc.

I've heard that WoW lost about 2 milion players in the last year, though i don't remember where I've heard it. Anyway try something else like guild wars or even some free online games like Invictus which isn't that bad for being free. other than that i can only advise you to stay away from those games or at least try to control your time :p

While games are actually good for the mind (unless you consider the game a reality) MMOs require some kind of dedication and only end when the company decides for it too, if your aim is to pass time I can think of many efficient ways to do so that dont cost a penny. Personally I say get 'hooked' on something that matters, like programming
