Need advice.. Where to look for traffic?

Let your domain and website mature over a period of time, and if you have done good seo, then you will gradually start getting organic traffic.Then do some article submission, blog commenting, forum posting, link exchanging and you will start getting traffic.

Make sure that when you look for traffic, you don't actually buy thousands of viewers for like $2 - because those are just automated visitors from a server.

What you need to do is build a site with content (or a product) that people wish to see/use, and then start spreading and mentioning it on blogs, forums, YouTube and other sites where your audience may be.

 

Use that list and especially the part about outsourcing if you don't want to do all the stuff yourself.

 

Really need to know if you want natural traffic or paid.

SEO:
Back links from relative authoritative websites.
Forum Signatures from high ranking threads.
Blogs that allow links in body of text with do follow
Set up a link wheel and blast the outer sites with Scrapebox. ($5- on fiver)

Get seoquake and start searching for high PR sites in your niche.

G+
Facebook

search DP for "How To Get Traffic" etc

Pay for it :-(

Natural traffic has long gevity and you don't risk beiing sent to the sandbox IMO.
Tricky link schemes are probably the worst thing you can do again IMO and Matt Cutts Google fanboys take too.

You should try to optimise your site for search engines. Upload some good quality videos on You Tube and also create Face Book pages to get free organic traffic.

At the moment I am getting more than 50000 visitors every month to my dating sites from You Tube, face Book and Google.
All these 50000 visitors are organic and free.
Now can you imagine How much Free and Organic 50000 visitors worth. I am sure if any dating webmaster is here, he would tell you. I earn 5 figures from only this traffic per month.

 

All the above really... I have just create a new project (today) called SrtURL.com feel free to submit your site there with a custom name.. The concept of the site is the more URL's you share the more your advert is seen in the interstitial adverts FREE of charge... The site is very new.. But within time it should grab some good traffic...

Ps: Take advice from all the above, as they know exactly what they are doing.. !!

I think social media and yahoo answering is the best sources to gain traffic and you can attend more and quickly traffic by it.
