is yahoo answers good for getting visitor..

I am new in yahoo answer... i really don't what it does with giving answers. but i did give about 90 answers but i did not get any good result.. what can i do now..

 

If you answer questions relating to your web site... and also mention your site I'm sure over time it will bring you additional traffic. But if you answer random questions with half ass answers which I'm sure you did if you answered 90 questions ofcourse it won't help you. Relevancy is key to quality traffic which will generate revenue.

 

Yeah it's not bad to get traffic.

Gotta answer a lot of questions to see any substantial traffic.

Make sure you answer relevant questions. Answering random questions with bad info and putting your link in can get your account removed.

Well what kind of question on Yahoo Answers will have a link to a post on a warez site as the source of the answer. I mean you can't simply answer any old question then place a link to some random site that has nothing to do with the question and does not answer the question if people were to follow the link.
I'm just guess here, but I think it would be against TOS to ask questions about downloading illegal stuff, so I don't see where there could be a question for you to answer. I could be wrong though, anyone know for sure?

 

If you give high-quality answers on targeted answers it can be very easy to get traffic from YA.

 

Maybe you didn't answer the questions which are searched more. Anyways not each and every question is gonna bring traffic.

 

Answer only question that are related to link. You cannot generate relevant traffic through irrelevant answer.

 

You need to fulfill two condition to get targeted traffic
1. Quality answer or/informative answer which can really helps the question starter. Spamming answer will always be ignored
2. the answer and question is highly related to your website link

 

You need to give more informative answer to those fields where people have interest. If very few people search for your answer, you will not get better result.

 

Also, relating to this, there's no point in creating an account just so you can ask a question to answer with a second account - it's always totally obvious that this is what you've done. People on Yahoo answers mostly ask things about life-matters, they do not ask things like 'which is the best directory to submit carpentry links to?'. So if you're thinking of signing up with a bogus account just to ask yourself a question, forget it, you're wasting your time.

 

Answering new questions will be much of a better source for traffic than ones that have been on there for awhile where folks lost track.
