I have a PR3 game site http://www.gamestoenjoy.com with 5,000 visits per day.
I earn 300$ per month from selling ads space (banners and text links).
I am sure that I can earn more from it, as the site is quite popular.
Can you please help me by giving me ideas how to increase my earnings?

This is extremely low conversion rate... Play with location of banners as well as blend them into your site's style.
