Google ranking advice

Okay, so I have a site that consists of only one page. This site is mainly based on a giveaway.
Well, there's only one page and I'm planning to write a short article that targets my keyword. Obviously, I won't be overdoing that, just a low to mid percentage of Keyword Density.

Do you think I should still do article submission and probably article spinning?
I'm really confused and I need some advice.

If I submit my article to a lot of directories, would it have an impact on my google ranking? Remember, this site only consists of one page with one article.

Besides that, where should I place my main keyword? So far I only know title and metatags.

 

Back link always Good... You can do Article submission it;s organic way to build one way back link and remember when you spin article try to make them unique

yes, but seo on page is always needed. After u doing seo on page then do seo off page like backlinking, social bookmarking etc

single page, single keyword / two keywords will be doing good in SE but if you increase pages would be more beneficial. Spinning article is never a good practice (grey hat). you may be penalized at some part of time.. so be careful with content.. targeting single content with lots of directories is not a Search Engine Friendly practice.., submit content to max 20 top most article websites.., by this way your website will be safe and also upon continous posting ur "Author's" authoritativeness increases.

The idea of article submission is good but not that way as stated here. You should not submit your article into that much directories, submit your article into only useful directories and just make sure that your article is unique.

 

Submit to quality diretories should be good.

 

I'd add more content

 

This will create tonne of duplicate content and Search engines may rank only one copy of article in search results and stack the rest. Moreover, this may be considered as over optimization and impact in a negative way.

I would rather suggest you to do some blogging and then share this blog on social media website. That will surely help in driving some quality traffic.
