How Do You Delete Retweets on Twitter?

When you post your own Tweets there's a "delete" button when you hover over the Tweet. However, when you retweet something that option isn't there. Considering how simple Twitter is you would think they would have this option in PLAIN VIEW. You shouldn't have to ask an expert to figure this out.

To delete retweets on Twitter you have to delete the original tweets. You can undo a retweet you've made by clicking the RETWEETED link. this will remove retweet from your timeline, but will not delete the original tweet.

 

I don't know that there's an actual way to do that, other than like emarion said deleting the original tweet.

 

If you mean how can you delete something you've retweeted, click the Retweet button a second time. You will no longer have retweeted it.

If you want to delete a tweet of yours that someone else has retweeted, you can delete the original post by going to that person's page, and clicking delete when you scroll to the right of the post, or deleting that tweet directly from your own timeline.

You cannot delete someone else's RT of your post, though.

I have not had a problem deleting retweets, when it is me retweeting someone else's message.

What you cannot do, though is delete someone else's retweet of your message.

1. Just open your profile page first and then check the image , its very easy to delete retweets

 

You retweet tweets of others so you cannot delete the actual tweet but you can disable the retweet and it will not show in your twitter account after that.
