There are many tool for SEO both free and Paid ones. I would say tying multiple tools give you an good idea. I have been using various tools for different purposes to have good amount of data like SERPAnalytics ( As a Full SERP Monitoring tool),Adwords (keyword suggestion), Google analytics (your traffic analysis), Ahrefs (explore backlinks),
SEOQuake (site parameters in SERP, good link with SERPTrends), SEMRUSH (competitor research),Keywordspy (competitor research), Authoritylabs (tracking tool) are some of the good tools to use. Also you can use these tools with Firefox addons like SERPTrends etc.

 

Only Google Webmaster Tool is ideal to use for SEO Purpose. Rest of the tool are risk to use and Google Don't like any tool SEO.. better to do it manually
