What do you think about Zen Cart shopping cart?

IMO, Zen Cart lacks ajax and template engine. Also, admin interface is a bit messy. And some useful modules are not included by default like wishlist, testimonials, memberships.

 

I have not yet tried zencart , I am using Zeuscart open source script for my store. It works well, and am fullly satisfied.

 

I think zencart is easy to use .it is open source. my site is build on zencart

Do you mean template system? But Zen Cart supports it, as I know.

 

Zen Cart to me is an awkward midpoint between OSC and Magento.

Not nearly enough templates for it, because it's so open ended like OSC, but with limitations that OSC doesn't have.

Zen is easier to code, but no Zen site quite looks as good as Magento, and I think that what you can do with Zen you can easily do with HTML and CSS.

 

too old, so many new functions, especially seo functions not included.

 

Its a deprecated mess. There are much better alternatives..... see the following that are all free...

Zen cart is good and It was very popular very few days ago. However, some new alternatives are doing better with supporting some advance function.

 

We have used OpenCart.com before, it has much developed over the years and highly recommended!

What do i think about zen cart? its great! its free. its easy to use. it has a lot of useful functions.
We were able to automate the processes of uploading and updating items. you only need to upload a few tab-delimited .txt files. it does not get easier than that.

 

Zen Cart is a free, strong and versatile online store management system. it may not be the best but it is better than others. it is easy to install and can be use even by a beginner. it allows easy navigation and can do automated tasks. two thumbs up for me.

 

I use cart2mobile software to shop online using my mobile phone. I am enjoying. However, there are many friends of mine who are also satisfied with Zen Cart.

 

ZenCart is very comprehensive e-commerce tools.
