Buying Java programmer

    Hi,

    I need a Java programmer to perform a few tasks. The programmer needs to be capable of using a MySQL database.

    The pay for these tasks is 35 USD. If I like the quality of your work then you can count with a bonus and future work.

    I have a small web-based java portal (plain java, not JSP, not JSEE, ...) that is using HSQL for the management of registered users and their details that is intended to replace an older program whose database runs in MySQL.

    The idea is to change the new program so that it uses the already existent MySQL instead of HSQL. This way both the new and the old app can work at the same time.

    I've chosen a developer however he never gave any contact again.

    Right now I'm considering to just do everything on my own.
