Affiliates usually get only a half or even less profit made from a single sale. Is this profit enough for covering cost of PPC traffic or PPC is only profitable for companies who sell their own products without affiliates involved?
not too optimistic.. don't get me wrong, I'm sure it is possible but it must be very very hard. If a product is brand new it might work for a few months though
Definitely possible to make money with PPC. It just takes lots of testing and tweaking like anything else to expand your margins.
Yes, many people are doing on this way. However, not all of them are making money. It depends on how good the conversion or ROI
You need to consider: 1. Traffic Quality - If the network is delivering fake / botted / incentivised / CRAP traffic, expect poor results. 2. Campaign Quality - Be sure campaigns are targeted and written correctly. 3. Landing Page Quality - Get to the point. Be sure the landing page matches the content of the campaign. 4. Campaign Targeting - Be sure the campaign is targeted to the right people. Nothing worse that spending money on traffic that has zero chance of converting like a US based advertisement shown to (INSERT COUNTRY HERE). 5. Narrow-cast the Creative - I see this way to often where someone will create one advertisement for a large segment. For example, "Get your Pet Supplies at X" landing on the home page of the site. What would make more sense is to narrow that down to specific popular items or segments like "Dog Collars that Bling", landing on a page that contains dog collars. 6. Reliable Affiliate Network - You need to gauge the reliability of the partner. The end result, it can work with some work and due diligence. Hope that helps! Bing
