Use google keyword tool external for finding keywords relevant for your site, along with much more cool info like number of monthly searches, competition etc.

For better match you can choose google adwords keyword tool. If new user create an account here and choose keyword tool, put your main keyword, sites url and set location, after doing it you w'll see here many related keywords. Now expand your best match and choose related keywords.

Make a list of raw keywords of the site, you can also take help of adwords by just submitting the url of the website on it, adwords gives you ideas related to the keywords.
Then start searching the keywords upon the keyword box of the adwords
Find the competition and the intitle values of the keywords.

Use the Google Keyword Adword Tool.

In the search engine, you can get related when you supply ~ / tilde before the keyword.

For example ~christmas gift ideas ... LSI keywords will show up on the results page.

Check Google keyword tool. Become and thought like a your own client. Think what you search if you have to find business services of type which you offer. Search those keywords and there will be list of keywords. Choose those keyword which are low in competition and high in search.

Also compare your website with the competitor sites. Check what type of keyword they used by viewing there page source and in source find meta keywords.

    Regards

Indeed Google's Keyword tool is a good idea but I used the SERPAnalytics tool on one of my projects and it did quite well too. They game me a spy tool for free too. You might want to give it a try too.

Before putting any keyword you must check the competition over the keyword you want to place in your Web/blog. Then chose the right with not much competition and as well as not too low.

While choosing a keyword, you need to check for keyword relevance, profitability and competitiveness. Besides that, you need to track your competitors.
But since manual research may be quite a time consuming process, Google Adwords tool is a good tool for light research.
Since I need to undergo deep research, I use Keyword Country. It helps me track my competitors’ SEO, PPC and link-building strategy and sends me alerts when they change their strategy...My silver bullet it is!
