Negative Balance question

Hello there, I have an unverified PayPal account with fake info and everything which has a negative balance of -$29 because I have sold a product to someone and that someone made a chargeback. I will have to restore the balance within 6 months? If not, what will happen?

 

If its with fake info then why worry about it. Just leave it.

Well, because, basically they give those $29 back from their own money since I didn't have them anymore on my account, right? And that's why I thought maybe who knows they will track me somehow to pay the debt.

 

You are not correct. You have negative balance because your balance have been calculated after the transaction charge is deducted. Since you have the un-verified account, you can't withdraw the money too. Hence there is no question about PayPal returning the chargeback from their own on behalf of you. They will simply return the amount that is On Hold and your account will be limited.

 

Well, they won't chargeback from the amount that you used to buy the another thing.
Chargeback means the dispute of PayPal. If you can provide proper proof, you will win and you won't need to pay anything.

 

Well I don't think that I can provide proper proof, and if the guy wins the $29 back then what will happen?

 

Then he will get nothing, if you don't have any CC attached with your PayPal. If your CC is attached then PayPal will charge from your CC.

 

Yea I don't have anything attached to my PayPal + fake details, so basically after the dispute is done the money will come back in my account and then the account will get limited? Even though I didn't have any money I suppose i will have the $0 balance again.

 

If you win the dispute, the chargeback will come to you.

And if don't win, then you will loose the On Hold fund.

If everything is fake, why you are bothering about that?

I wonder, how you used it for transaction while it is unverified?

 

Well even though you have an unverified account you can still send money to other people also receive money. Anyway thanks for clearing this up for me.

 

If its a fake account then you don't got much to worry about. Paypal will just write this off over time.

 

Yeah you have nothing to worry about, its fake so it will probably just get limited, but thats it.
I talk from experience, similar thing happened to me a year or so ago.

 

Okay well now the Payment Status says "Placed" instead of "Hold", what does that mean? "Placed"

 

The amount is too small for paypal to care, if it was a higher amount (500+) they could easily track you.

I have negative balance with -86 USD I have given product to person in digital format and he chargedback, i have provided correct info and bank account, i just wonder cna paypal take money from bank?

 

No way.....paypal won't take back the money from ur bank...were are u from?

 

I dont think paypal will take money from yoru bank account, paypal have no right for doing it
