Which Ecommerce platform is best

Definately Magento! Very powerful and open-source.

Magento is the way to go - At first you will have to go through a learning curve and learn lots of new stuff - but then again there are loads of tutorial websites and help on the web.

BigCommerce has some really great functionality and it's user friendly.

 

It depends on the type of business too. I usually use the Wordpress commerce system as I find this works really well for small and big eCommerce sites. If you also host it on Wordpress, you get a lot more control over theme etc, and it's really easy to use in my opinion. Plus, it's free!

 

WooCommerce rocks these months, using it and it works like a charm. Sure if you have right extensions like Paypal Pro and other and make your site more extra.

 

Similarities of dating and ecommerce platforms...nice to "try" them out, but sooner or later you have to commit to ONE of them.

 

i think magento is best platform for making any e-commerce site and i use also magento for this.

I love Shopperpress, however I think thats reletively unknown as I don't hear a lot of people talking about it. Out of them four I think Magento is probably the best as I would use that if I didn't use shopperpress.

 

I think that it depends on the scale and objectives as well as experience of your customer.
Magento is better for large-scaled ones with many outstanding features, but a little bit difficult to use at first.
Prestashop may be suitable for small and medium-sized ones and is fast and easily installed and customized.

Most of the members in this forum suggest magento. but you can also try ISC shopping cart from this site -- iscexperts.com. I've been using interspire shopping cart on my ecommerce site (clothing). Now my site is UP and running. I purchase Isc banner slider - nivo for a reasonable cost. I really love the look.
