    Black hat SEO is use of:

    Hidden text - text in 1px so readers cant see it or same colour as background so visitors cant see it.

    Cloaking - The main idea behind cloaking a web page is to show a doorway page to search engine crawlers but the “Money page”. Software identifies the crawlers and redirect them to doorway pages and when it discovers the visitors it send them to “Money Page”.

    An many more they are all likely to get your site removed from Google completely, so not a good idea to use really.

    Blackhat SEO is a very broad concept. There are thousands of blackhat methods. Some are still hidden. You see guys it is not bad at all, just dont abuse it too much.

    Black hat seo means seo work with not following the actual seo rules. means for keywords tag you can only used 12 to 14 keywords. But if you are use 40 keywords then it is called as black hat seo. This techniques is not useful now after Penguin update. Black hat seo is considered as Spam according to new rules. So always follow white hat seo technique.

    My definition of BH is different. It means you are actively trying to cheat by taking advantage of something or someone. It also encompases the criminal element too.
    I would say if it's challenging Google's TOS then Grey Hat is sufficient.

    My suggestion is not to do blackhat SEO, as with the recent Panda and Penguin updates, Google has really improved their algorithm. Focus on quality and content first!
