I must say use social media websites for blog commenting because in their websites commenting supported by disqus. Which is so easy and instantly approved.
This is NOT right for most of the blogs (of course there are some exceptions... But in order to keep a blog spam-free, most webmasters prefer to first check the comment, and only after this approve/deny the comment! )
For natural link building you also need nofollow links. When blog has nofollow links but huge traffic then you can also get profits from commenting there.
