    Most of them are paid.

    Yeah these are good link building tactics.And directory submission is also a link building tactic.For one way links avoid to submit reciprocal links in directory submission.

    Directory submission is also a link building technique but it is not that much worthier because your links will be approved after some 6 months. So you can't expect to get immediate back links using Dir submission.
