    Hey Guys!

    Doorway pages are simple webpages which bring in the search engine traffic to your website. Though its a littke manipulative technique, i am curious to know that how many of you (SEOs) use Doorway pages as one of the strategies in optimizing search results?

    Can you explain a little more what a doorway page is? I am not exactly sure what you're talking about.

    Doorway page is a Black Hat SEO Technique. After the Google Penguin Update (on 24.04.12) it has become more harmful for your website(s). Google has targeted the Black Hat SEO people. Beware.

    Well, Doorway pages are web pages that are created for spamming the index of a search engine by inserting results for particular phrases. These redirect visitors without their knowledge by using some form of cloaking.
