Hey guys, I need some emails for my list, and to do that I need traffic. I have used PPC traffic but I usually dont get many subs, and if there is any, they never open their emails. What is the best source for CHEAP/FREE TARGETED TRAFFIC?

Are you offering something to get them on your list? There are many factors like what does your landing page look like to get them to opt in to your list? I hope you are using a landing page that is... Also bringing people to that page through forum marketing, article marketing and things of that nature shouldnt be too hard. -Omar
The only way is to find people that are really interesting in your product. From there, you will going to get loyal subscribers.
You're going to have to give them something of value, for free. Then you need to build up credibility, but be wary of giving too many gifts, the last thing you want is a large list of subscribers looking for freebies.
You need to remember this very important concept: Its not about the # od members of your list, but the RELATIONSHIP and COMMUNICATION and remember COMMUNICATION is a TWO way street. Ask them questions, have contests ask questions have them participate etc.

It depends on what you are offering for free.. also are yiu getting good conversions on your squeeze page? Then you must develop a relationship with them.. send them value. then you could pitch them offers once in a while. But the inportant part is build trust with your list. People buy from people they trust..
Target niche customer in your email list,update it frequently with opt-in and opt-out. Give good offers to your customers.

If you want to build your list fast then paid traffic is the way to go. My favorite paid traffic methods are Solo Ads and Banner Ads.
Depends on the niche site. I think most important is to respect your readers. Is better 500 loyal subscribers than 5k per day traffic. My opinion.
