I agree. I also feel that even educated people are against same-sex marriage. I'm not ready to say that formal education or lack of it is the most compelling factor on this point. It's a critical issue that goes into the core of one's thinking and psychology.

Human history is biased against homos. I don't care if their feelings are hurt, I think they are an aberration of nature and should be shunned. On the other hand I don't like the gov telling anyone what to do. If some inbreed redneck wants to marry his pet pig so be it.

But as for who am I going to vote for? Mitt. Don't like this socialism nonsense. Poor people are stupid and lazy and deserve to suffer and be poor.

Do you even know every single poor person out there. A statement of pure disdain and egregious arrogance should at least contain some tact. Not everyone that is poor is stupid or lazy. For awhile, my family was poor and yet I now have a Bachelor's degree and am doing well for myself. Would you dare to call me stupid and lazy despite the fact that I wasn't always as financially solvent as you so clearly are? Hateful rhetoric doesn't belong here sir.

    Here's an arrogance statement.
For who knows how long it didn't matter who ran or who won, barely anything changed.

My guess is you are single. lol.

You guys seriously come up with some ridiculous debates.

Cheney has a gay daughter, what has Obama got? Of course on gay marriage even I would agree Cheney will be more credible on his feelings there.

Why not compare Obama's take with Romney's take, after all they're the people most relevant here?

    Nice to see you back.

I don't know what's the issue with gay marriage, term itself is already discriminating. After all who says we are attending an 'interracial wedding' on Sunday, anymore ?

Thanks popotalk. I'm still a little busy so not back fully yet. Upgrading business & bought a new house in town. Plenty going on in my life right now. I do pop in here every now & again just to catch up. Couldn't go past Obamanation's (silly) comment once his cohorts started cheering for it lol. :)

Not sure how else it could be described. Interracial marriage still suggests a man & woman.

    You know, it's funny:

Obama was a community organizer, an untenured law professor, a junior senator that did not complete a single term of office, and never worked a day in his life in the private sector - and he claimed to be qualified to be President to create jobs in the private sector.

Meanwhile, Mitt Romney was Governor of a major state and has 25 years of experience creating jobs in the private sector, and Obama claims Romney isn't qualified to be President.

    It's just too funny.

If Obama stays at a hotel and tells the clerk he wants a wakeup call... They'll show him the lastest poll numbers.
    Source: Rasmussen - http://m.rasmussenreports.com/publi...ministration/daily_presidential_tracking_poll

Statistically he's in a dead heat with Romney on general election polls, but he's going into the election at that rate, having had four years to convince people he had the chops. The number that strogly dissaprove combined with the declining numbers who strongly approve doesnt speak well for turnout of anyone but his "clap your hands if you believe" faithful.

Yes, but sheeple vote for who they like the most. Unfortunately, Obama comes across as more likable than Romney.

My gut is telling me that Obama going to win again but I'm hoping that Ron Paul will be able to get more supports. The country really need some drastic changes if they want to get out of this big mess.

I like how someone's attacked Ron Paul's website, Dailypaul.com. It brings up an warning message stating it will harm your computer. I guess the discrimination, blacking out, and attacks of Paul continue.

So did the liberals... until the recall fell flat on its face. Now it was a meaningless unrelated state issue. Imagine that.

If liberals were a football team they'd wanna put wheels on the goalpost.

It's been really quiet here since the recall election yielded even more votes for the same candidate that won last time against the same candidate that ran against him last time.

How does that work? You spend 16 months crying like babies, protesting and trying to get your side out to vote only to find that 200,000 more people not only vote the 2nd time around, but they vote for the guy you were trying to get rid of.

What this tells me is that either more people actually got out and voted for the guy that won, or more people on the other end of the spectrum changed their mind and their vote this time around...

It was an EPIC FAIL !!! And it was a mandate. Hopefully now the other 49 states Governors will realize that you can take on the mob (organized labor) and WIN; TWICE!

If Obama wants even a glimpse at getting re-elected he has to FIRE Attorney General Eric Holder.

Holder is giving the finger at the entire legal system by defying subpoenas to provide documents to Congress on Fast & Furious. His own Justice Department is so disgusted with him that they are leaking documents including applications for wiretaps - MEANWHILE Holder is denying that these documents even exist!

Contempt of Congress vote for Holder next week. When will Obama realize that Holder is NOT his friend?
