Best way to market a new Gaming Site?

I started a new site several weeks ago and need some guidance and tips on the proper way of marketing it.

Its a Diablo 3 Community and im trying to hit the ground running.

I am launching a contest shortly. What can i do to get the most out of my Contest and any other marketing?

See if you can run a cross website contest between your site and another diablo website.

Of course rank for Diablo keywords that don't have any real competition..

 

There are lots of tricks to market your gaming site.I can suggest you that create a fanpage and facebook profile for your website.I guarantee you will get unlimited visitors.You can do social media marketing,social bookmarking etc.

 

Social network is good way to market your game site. e.g: Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, and more.

And also game forums.

 

Ok Ok everyone keeps insisting on the social media.... i get it but how the hack do i get people to like my page? I launched a contest today and only a few responded.... any input?
