    SitePoint and DigitalPoint are both wrong. They are not do follow. Most of the others are not either. Waste of time and a spammy post.

    Regardless, it is still a pretty cool place to post. And even if the links are nofollow, you will still get some extra clicks from people genuinely interested in your site. Also, making it nofollow definitely helps with some of the spam versus other dofollow forums.

    If you get a link naturally from a forum, because it's good reference material in conversation then that can help as traffic from that thread (but it could be meaningless for rankings).

    Anyway, enjoy your spamming.
