You need to start to build some natural back links. Two of the best ways to build back links are blog and forum commenting.

Too many variables to list. Ultimately, you need to write very good unique content. Then you need people to find it, so you need to link to it from other sites, forums, press release, social media, whatever. Keep trying to find high-quality methods to bring people in and raise the value of your website and the various pages within it.
No one here mentioned yet Article Marketing. It is a pretty old method, but it still works. Squidoo and Hubpages would be the most friendly sites to post your articles, and make money while they get high in serps. I still use EZine Articles and it is still giving me a decent amount of traffic to my squeeze pages, they key here is to use a low-med competition keyword, take the time to get a good long tail keyword else don't use this method because you won't get on the first page of google. regards!
Hi Everyone There are a huge number of ways to drive traffic to any website. I'll split these up into FREE and PAID ways. If you have cash for marketing & take time to learn to do them well, then I'd recommend PAID ways as they're more measurable & attract most highly-qualified traffic, can be quicker to test for results & can be up-scaled without much more of your time. However, if no cash for marketing, then use FREE to generate traffic & sales, then later use profits to test & optimise PAID methods. PAID METHODS (In order of importance) 1. Google PPC - Attracts most highly-qualified traffic. 2. Facebook PPC - Target people based on interests. 3. Display/Banner Ads - If do Google PPC, can incorporate banner ads too. Can also run banner ads on sites related to what you sell. 4. SEO (Search Engine Optimisation) - Ranking on first 10 spots of Google for certain keywords (number 1 spot is preferable as you'll get approx 42% of all the traffic for that keyowrd). Focus on getting good quality links to your website (off-page optimisation) - get everybody you know to link to you - and keyword-rich blog posts (on-page optimisation). Can be done professionally for paid, or you can learn to optimise yourself & use your own time to do so to do it for free. 5. Affiliate Programs - Set up & have other people selling your products in return for a % commission. Allows you to reach people you never would have reached otherwise, paying out of revenue earned. FREE METHODS (Not in any order of importance) 1. Forum Marketing - Add a "stand out" sig to every post & most relevant, useful content. 2. Email Signatures - Add a "stand out" link to your email sig. 3. Article Marketing - Write quality, keyword-rich articles (about 300-500 words) & submit to top article directories, e.g. eZine. 4. Content Syndication - Similar to article marketing, except you don't need to worry about keywords. Approach bloggers & other websites in your niche and ask to give them articles. 5. Classified Ads - e.g. Craigslist 6. Contributing on Newsletters - And include a backlink at end of content post. 7. Online Giveaways - e.g. Free viral ebook that people can send on to others they know. 8. Social Bookmarking - Post links to all blog posts on your site, articles, etc to social media sites. 9. Video Marketing - e.g. Record a video tip & edit keywords in title, tags & description, with URL immediately below video. 10. Facebook Marketing - e.g. FacebookPage. 11. List Swaps - e.g. Approach others people serving your or related niche & do a JV where you promote each other's products by email to each other's lists. Need about 500 people on list first. 12. PR (Press Releases) - Free press releases online. Best results come from working on several at the same time to bring you a growing source of highly-targeted traffic. Test marketing methods to find which ones work best for you, which ones you like, and do more of those. Lastly, a caution on SEO - this can be very time-expensive to rank for certain keywords, time that could be better used for other activities. Do thorough keyword research beforehand to find suitable keywords, checking demand first, then looking at supply, i.e. amount & strength of competition in top 10 spots. Also, be aware that Google does change their algorithms which can adversely impact ranking virtually overnight! Best Wishes David
