Have a website that hasn't been affected by the panda update?

It's interesting to hear from people that have been affected by the panda update, but I wonder if there is anyone has not been affected as I'm someone that hasn't. I have a pagerank of 3 (I really can't understand why to be honest) and I had this before the updates started and I still have the same rank. Does this mean I'm doing something right? Or just that Google hasn't got to my site yet?

 

google is still rolling out the algorithm update in waves. it started since easter weekend hence some call the update easter update. some sites were affected during easter weekend and some earlier the month but from what i see, the update continues. don't get into comfort zone yet, just keep your eyes open. this update is gonna be bigger than initial panda update that took place during feb 2011.

 

There are still sites that weren't affected by Panda. This dont say they are in safe zone. They will be checked someday as Panda is checking the search index step by step.

 

So many websites are not yet affected by the panda update because the google panda algorithm will be seeing the websites not in the same time, so it may take some time to affect all websites.

 

Just an update really. My site must have been affected by the panda update finally. I have been taken down to PR2 (from PR3) which I don't think is bad for me as I haven't seen any negative effect apart from this. I'm still getting a gradual increase of visitors and as a bonus I have just started earning on adsense

 

Only have been affected on 1 of my 6 websites so i am fine. The website that got hit is even getting stable / normal again .

 

If everything is as per Google guideline and you have not played tricks for better ranking then you won't face any adverse effect from this update rather you may enjoy better improvement in keyword positions and rankings.

 

i have many sites.. also many clients which i am responsible to...

There are some which are affected, and the rest don't (some even got ranked higher, because competitors going down)

i can see from there what make the difference in ranking..

 

Do you get paid for page rank? If not, then it is a pretty worthless metric for deciding if you are doing something right. Are you trying to make money with your site? Is that working? If it is, then you are doing something right.

 

It's nice to hear that the panda update isn't all negative. It does get a bit annoying just hearing about the negative stories all the time, doesn't it?

browntwn: I don't get paid for the metric and I don't class it as an important metric but I do keep my eye on it. If I carried on doing the way I have been and suddenly my PR dropped right off it would set an alarm bell off. So in a way I use it as a metric, but that's about it. I will be hoping to earn an income from the site but this is not a major priority at the moment.

 

most of my websites got a boost with penguin upgrade, 1-2 of them only got a reduction but it was fixed after 1-2 weeks

 

Don't know about the panda but yes penguin do have created a problem for me.........

 

Before panda update my site having only 2 posts was not in top 10 pages, but now its on the 1st page of google. Great Update..

My website also keeps good ranking after the penguin updates and we are not changing our seo strategies.

Really? How long will Google take to update its datebase?

 

Even none of my website get affected by Penguin update.

 

The websites that contain duplicate content has to be penalized by google updates
