Google Penguin - Anyone know how to recover?

We have built 4 different websites all with 100% unique content all ranked on first page of google until Penguin , now only 1 aged domain and 1 other site is on page 1, one is not to be found and the other is bottom of page 2...

We have tested different link building methods and when one worked we rolled the method across the sites, ensuring they all got to page 1. But we cannot understand the drop of 2 site, as we only used white hat methods.

All content had keyword density no more than 4% and was optimised perfectly all content was of quality too. This goes against the claims of the update attacking sites of poor quality - why would it rank on page one if the quality was crap?

 

At this moment, no one knows the exact targetting of the penguin update.. I think that we need to wait more for a definitive strategy

No any perfect way to recover your ranking. Try fresh content in your site and create more quality based dofollow backlinks. After some time you will get your ranking again.

 

Didn't know that there is a Google Penguin. When did it started?

 

I dont think there is any way to recover but to avoid it in the future it is advisable to only follow white hat seo.

 

Looks like Penguin has hit sites with "abnormal" backlink profiles. What is abnormal? Only Google knows, but too many links with the same anchor text is one theory doing the rounds. Another theory is that links from sites which appear to be selling links have been devalued, and sites relying on this type of link have suffered.

Try varying anchor text e.g. "Visit website" use direct url and don't waste money buy links on low quality sites or unrelated sites!

 

I don't think he has problem with fresh content.
But i would suggest you lower the keyword density to around 2%.

 

I would guess you're still doing something that looks "unnatural" in Google's eyes. Everything onpage and off should look totally natural.

 

I think this is the way to go. I'm hearing that penguin is really a filter that's targeting pages Google thinks has over optimized on page seo. Try to lower and see if that happens. Everyone is still looking for answers.

 

Aged domain and authority site are loved by Google Penguin

 

I am also the most affected by the Penguin. And I was completely disappeared from the first page. I waited, continued posted and I got a success. I am at the top of the page.

"visit website" anchor text is useless to anyone....

 

i have noticed after google penguin update now crawler started scanning your complete website. If you have any link pointing to the buy now link or any other ways then it will get index on search engine. This causing the duplicate pages on the web. Only content optimization is not just enough. you need to check whether google crawler found any broken link on your website which effecting on your indexing.

 

I think you should check your back links is they belongs to good quality website(bad neighborhood). if may be you using website cloaking. or its may be also happen if you using fresh content but somebody using that and u just have change some words. this may be a reason.if not then sorry. you work hard again.
