New beta search engine, looks promising

Hey everyone I just read a press release for this new search engine that's in beta called LessJunk.org. From my understanding, it searches only the top 5000 sites on the web by user voting. Anyone else checked this thing out? It's still only in beta, but it looks like it could be really cool in the future.

Haven' heard about such an engine. But it'll be hard to compete with Google.

I dunno, duckduckgo.com is better than Google IMO in most regards except they suck at local search.

I think one we talk about Search Engines, then always which first name comes to our mind - thats Google. So i think its difficult to compete with Google for any search engine.

No search engine can beat Google in anyway, as it keeps on growing each day. This search engine needs a whole lot of time even to reach the level of Bing But i and i don't think that it is going to happen soon. But i guess its going to make progress in future.

Baidu is good, but not best.

Never heard something like that. And not interested as well to use as long as there is Google.

Hmm, never hear about it. It will be hard for any search engine to enter the market. I do like Duckduck.go, though. I wish my search engine rank depended on them, not Google. They really live by "don't be evil"!
