Instructions for validating my domain

I am ready to use DPA but there are no clear instructions for validating ownership of my domain. I see no place to get the necessary code I have to use to create my file or anything. If anyone can please link me to clear instructions on how to validate ownership of my domain, I would appreciate it.

Do you have JavaScript enabled? Also, do you have anything that might alter the page output (like ad blocker)? Instructions will show on the page where you add a site (it shows after you enter the domain).

Ok didn't know I had Adblock Plus installed, disabled it and all works now including ads showing so I'm removing it, I hate that ads get blocked from me like that. I just hate popup ads.

Current installed version is Adblock Plus 2.0.3

Is there a way to check if that plugin is enabled then display to users a suggestion to disable it?
