    Hello Friends


    I was discussing about with my friend about type of SEO. I told him there are two type of SEO "White Hat Seo" & "Black Hat Seo". But he told me no there are three types of SEO and third one is "Brown Hat Seo". I am very confused about Brown Hat Seo. So friends please tell me about it, if it exist in Search Engine Optimization.

    for me there is only 2 types and methods :

    1. On-Site (View-Page ) Seo
    2. Off-site (Directory) Seo

    Any other .... are blackhat seo's and if u do , u will say get banned for all places , unless u progress a illegal site.

    There are main three type of seo white hat, black hat and gray hay. if people promote their website in ethical way and follow the search engine guidelines that call a which hat seo. but if people use some unethical way to decrease their competitor website thats call a black hat seo. black hat also called reverse seo. and last is gray hat. in gray hat people use some unethical way to promote their site, but we can't surely called its black hat seo.

    I too know only three types of SEO-White hat,black hat and Grey hat.Well first time i have heard about brown hat SEO.I think it may be the another name of Grey hat SEO.

    According to me, there are 3 types of SEO techniques, listed below -
    1) White hat SEO technique - Optimizing the webpage following the search engine guidelines. Also known as ethical SEO technique.
    2) Black hat SEO technique - Optimizing the webpage without following the search engine guidelines. Also lnown as Unethical SEO technique.
    3) Grey hat SEO technique - Optimizing the webpage with merging white hat seo technique and black hat seo technique.

    I have never heard about 'Brown Hat SEO'. I know White Hat SEO and Black Hat SEO and also heard about 'Grey Hat SEO'. In Grey Hat SEO some Black hat techniques are also included with White Hat SEO.
