    The main thing is that you have to contribute. Then only you can get the benefits for Yahoo answer. And that benefit is huge if you are looking for targeted traffic to your website.

    Pay attention to pick up some real problem-asker, the fake one always has no avatar, short-time registering duration.
    Plus, don't add too much apparant spamming information.

    I think that the main thing that you should make sure of is not to submit your link right away in a post, as this just looks really spammy. Provide some good information, and then at the bottom mention your site as another reference to learn more. This seems to get a lot of clicks by very targeted traffic!

    the thing that annoys me a lot that I DO follow the rules of yahoo answers. I contribute a lot and have been made a top contributor in the section.
    but there is so much spam out there! they just copy and paste the description of the product they advertise, no matter what the question was!
    I always (!!!) answer in the most relevant way, communicate with users and help them but I just don't get it.
    when I paste a link in my answers even though it's relevant my answers get reported,
    I seriously think that those who spam are to blame! because sometimes my answers got reported like 17 answers in a very short period of time and they were relevant.
    those spammers always vote for themselves and the number of votes for their useless answers is incredible.
    I mean what the ? where are the moderators?

    Please read the guideline of yahoo answer carefully. After that try to understand what the wrong you are doing. If you find everything ok from your side and still facing same problem, inform the authority.
