How to make money from feedburner?

Discussion in 'General Marketing' started by Danaldinho, May 8, 2012.

    Hey,

I have other 5,000 subscribers to my Feedburner email subscription, but I am currently making no profit from it when everyone says you should be making money from emails.

I noticed that Feedburner only offers Google Adsense as a "monetize" option, but I don't want to use that.

So does anyone know any other ways for me to make a little bit of revenue from sending out Feedburner emails?

    Thanks :)

Can you explain more please? Because that means I will have to add affiliate links in my blog posts for them to show in the email, which is something I did not want to do.

    Or am I wrong?

Might I ask why you don't want to use it?

Well they didn't accept my website last year, so I don't think they will accept me for feedburner either.

You must have tried adwords. Adsense doesn't accept sites or not. You just put the snipet of code into your site, and it will word. Adwords is for advertising, not monetization. They are two sides of the same coin, but are different. Basically adwords are for advertisers, and adsense is where the advertisers show up. Unless you have pornography on your site, it will work. I'd go ahead and set it up.

You could sell ad spots on your email in the BST section of the forum. What is your audience?

Make money online and monetize your blog using FeedBurner’s Ad Network. As you have notice Ive added feedburner on my blog. No subscribers yet. Be the first.

    What does it do?

Feedburner, the world’s most popular feed hosting is best known for its Atom-to-RSS conversion: you give it an Atom feed URL (e.g. http://myagloconetwork.blogspot.com/atom.xml ), and you get a URL that contains the up-to-date RSS version of it.

    What is RSS?

RSS is an increasingly popular means for people to read your blog content, its an excellent opportunity to make sure that you make money online and don't lose out on advertising revenue, even if your readers never visit your website directly.

I have not yet generated any revenue from FAN since participation in FeedBurner’s Ad Network is by invitation and most of the visitors who had bookmarked this blog used the default old blogger atom feed. Please update your feeds.

    No it was Adsense.

I clicked on Adsense login from Feedburner and it just gives me this message:

Yeah but I don't really want to do that.

    Is there any other ways?
