    Question is in the topic; can I have 2 paypal accounts (business & personal)?

    If yes, do I have to notify paypal about this or not...

    I found some answers on google but they seem old so I wanted to ask this question here again.

    Yes you are allowed to have one Personal and one Business/Premium account.

    You can make up to 2 paypal accounts with two different mail ids .A/c should be one personal and one business .
    But you cannot make two business or two personal account on same name and same address .Paypal will easily trace you.

    As per paypal policy Yes! you can open 1 Personal 1 business/premier.
    But if any account limited like business account limited.Then Personal account will be limited.

    Yes you can open one personal and one business account.

    If you only want to have a personal account right now you can upgrade it to a business account later. However, you cannot downgrade a business account to a personal account.

    Yes you have to keep this in mind. Once you upgrade your existing paypal account, then you can't downgrade them.

    No, Karthick this is wrong. You cannot downgrade your account online, however you can call up customer care and downgrade your account. I have downgraded my Business account to Premium account. I did this by calling PayPal India customer care. Whilst doing this I was asked for option if I had to downgrade to personal account or not. So every possible downgrade is possible.

    I'd stay away from people with multiple PayPal accounts if they can't explain the purpose, especially from people who originate from that country..
