blogspot domain or custom domain?

    I want to know which domain will be better for blogging on blogger.
    Blogger has default blogspot domain.
    But I heard that, the blogspot domain is not so helpful in SEO.
    It is more tough to get PR in blogspot domain.
    Would anyone please tell me which domain will do better for blogger?

    there is no issue with blogspot or custom domain in seo. but custom domain is more safe, because i had experience with blogspot domain. after working 2years on one blog, google deleted my blog due to spam reason. and all of my two years backlink work gone in a second.

    From my personal experience blogspot or custom domain doesn't matter for google but Custom domain has an advantages, it is easy to remember, you can move your host, you can transfer domain to another registrar etc.

    Usually I don't visit any blogspot domains execpts Google's official blogs such as adsense blog, webmaster central blog. Simply custom domains will give a more sophisticated blog.

    I think Custom Domain is best for blogging. Blogspot Domain is good but custom domain is better. if the visitor will see two site, one is custom domain site and another is blogspot site then visitor will open custom domain site. so custom domain is good.

    If you want to have just a small personal blog you can get away with the free domain but if you want it to look more business like then use the custom option.If it was me i would buy a domain and use the wordpress platform these days you can set up a very good site for not alot of money.

    In my view its better to get a custom domain for your blogger blog to build your own brand and to show your blog as a customized one. Even it is good in seo point of view, if we can do some seo for our blog.

    If you only want to write something that seems interesting to you, you can try to build domain on Blogger and try it on...
    If its a business blogging, to extend your business it is better to own a custom domain

    I think custom domain is good.. mainly for the URL Structure. In my Opinion you can start with blogspot and later your can switch to your custom domain..

    if you can afford to go with your own domain then i personally recommend wordpress for blogging online , As it comes with 1000s of free seo plugins . But for bloggers just stay with their system that would be batter . a little word press example our gaming blog http://gamezblog.net/ Getting 8000+ keyword impression every single day . and generates good cash from all affiliate and paypar click.
