I apologise if this has been asked but I only read the first 5 pages.
In the video I see that yellow thing across the top the screen.
"your ads have recently appeared on sites you have not authorised"

I've never seen or heard of that before, I guess it's got something to do with your widget and fb fans posting on other sites. But what I'm interested in is what does this mean for you and adsense? Have they moaned about removing the ads? and since when did you have to authorise other sites to display ads? that biit has got me concerned about whether this is going to get you banned eventually?

Actually this is what helps prevent the BANNED scenario from happening.
This has nothing to do with my widget as my widget is in an iframe which
is hosted on my site only. It has to do with people copying parts of my
HTML that has my adsense code in it.

If someone copies part or all of your site and does not edit the code with
the adsense in it, then your ads will display on their site. There is really
nothing you can do but ask the webmaster to remove your code or make
a list of approved sites.

The list of approved sites will be the ONLY sites that clicks will count from.
So say someone wants to hurt you by putting your code on an illegal file
sharing site or on an adult site. This for sure would be a ban by google. So
to prevent something like that happening, google gives you the ability to
choose the sites that you approve ad income from. Thus if someone clicks
on ads that are being displayed on a non authorized site, you are do not
received income but you also are not penalized.

Also if you are in the middle of a click bomb scenario, this would be a for
sure way to stop the bombers in their tracks. Unapprove your site until
the attack is over instead of going in and removing the google code from
your page. Much faster and more effective, especially when a person could
then just copy the code to one of their pages and continue to click away.

 

i do good amount with few websites with adsense. adsense can be huge money maker if used right

 

Thanks for your explanation Ender330 it's answered my questions perfectly, however it also creates more questions for me.
I don't understand why somebody would copy your site/pages and include your ads still. for example if they copy and paste the text it wouldn't pick up your ad code. And if they are savvy enough to grab the html then they probably have enough knowledge to edit or remove your ad code. I'm failing to understand why people would willingly display your ads for you.
It's a shame that we cannot see one of your sites or have a better idea of how your ads are displayed in this scenario on other peoples sites.
I'm starting to wonder if it is something similar to mochimedia where they offer flash games that you can add on your site and an ad is displayed prior to the game loading. You say you are in the mobile niche, I'm thinking something similar with a mobile app/game or something like this?

I'm definately liking your earnings, I'll hit that someday, I've used adsense before but only just come back to playing with websites after several yrs away. I'm hitting around $20 a week after 5 weeks. I have found I lack discipline. I get too stuck on reading forums instead of working. It's the main thing I need to work on that's preventing me making more money.

did not remove the code. Others I am not sure why they would copy my code. People do a lot
of strange things for strange reasons.

You dont expect to get that information just easy...
I have 12 blog networks now and I also dont bother about article too. The blogs are just aboout a month old..
I did have up to 360 uniques visitors and few from search engines.. google, bing, and yahoo.
Its great..I think adsense now is more about videos and review.. and pictures with little description which google dont care about..
I am trying to make or edit a video and post on Youtube with my link.. this should be viral. see example of my blog.. wordpressvideo.us
