Xenforo License

    Hello guys,

I wanted to sell my Xenforo license on Digital Point but was unable to due to a 100 day clause in which states it cannot be transferred so I agreed with a member on here that we would leave it until it is possible. Bear in mind, I have received no money nor for Paypal or my actual bank account as I never gave those details out in the first place as the transfer could not take place. It was the potential buyer who made me aware of the 100 day clause so we both agreed to not go any further.

But now, after sending him a message saying if he is still interested in the license and that I could sell it on the 23rd May the guy is asking me all of a sudden to refund him money that I have not received and that he's been waiting too long? I'm sure he's mistaken but I'm concerned that this is a potential scam on their part or maybe his account may of been hacked?

    What should I do?

In either case, I've decided to retain my license.

Tell him you don't have his money. Then if he insists, suggest he send proof of sending such like a paypal receipt or something.

If he still insists after that, ignore him.

I wouldn't even worry about it. If there was no transaction he won't be able to prove it.

Not to worry. Who is he going to complain to? And he needs to prove he sent you money which you received. Until that happens, no case.
