What Google is doing these Day ?

Hi DP members,

I want to get you attention on very important issue about dropping in traffic of most of websites suddenly. I want to know what Google is doing these Day ? Because my website is also getting down day by day even content is good. Alexa is also down.

One Site looses 50 K traffic in a month.

Tell me, is something happening with your website same or you face same issue like me.

or Google is going crazy don't know what to do

 

Search in google about the recent 4/24/2012 update and you'll get many questions, but not valid solution.

Google are taking steps to award 'quality sites' with 'quality positions' in Google search and that is that is exactly what they are doing with the aid of these small algo updates,Google search is the de-facto standard in cyber space.That is basically it.

 

Google claims the latest algo update is targeted at sites they feel used blackhat or spam tactics to game their search results. Lots of sites and getting knocked way down in rankings. I'm not saying you're site is spam, but it would depend on how it was SEOd. If you're site is legit, then I would try and contact Google. You'll be waiting in a long line though, so don't expect a quick response.

The major update going on these days is "Schematic Web Search". Basically, here Google will answer your query on this own with 3-4 reference website (reference defines as the most authorised websites referred by Google - Search Engine).

For instance: If you are located in India - you can search for "Dimple Kapadia Sister" - Google will give you an reply with "Simple Kapadia"

It's not currently activated for all keywords/categories but though it is displayed with few categories/keywords.

 

Google has let us down with this update, we have always taken Mat’s advice and only used White SEO, now we are told that if your site has been optimized white or black does not matter you will be punished, this is bull site, I personally think, they no longer have any clue of what they are doing @ Google, I think they have F’ed there Algo by over tuning it

 

Google don't need anyone , but we are in need of Google.

 

Google will always do it's own thing, I try to focus on improving content and avoiding spammy tactics.

 

It may happen for various reason. For example, if you use black hat seo then your page rank may got down. Coz Google doesn't like black hat hat seo techniques. Here solution for you, use white hat seo techniques. Another problem, if your content matches with the content of another site, then your page rank may got down though your content is good enough. So try to solve this problem to get the previous position. Wish you all the best.

 

Google has updated it algorithm. Search for it and you will know.

I have just gone through some threads in this forum which is all about Google's new update i.e. Penguin. I think that is may be the reason for your website ranking/traffic drop.

Dropped 50k traffic in a month! Is the information legit? How much traffic you get on that site? Google is punishing site with duplicate contents and bad quality links.

 

There is a new update in google just 4 days ago they update page rank of all websites which is so good as google done this before 3 months. i think its good and there are also some changes in algorithm og Google.
